A Ryan Choi Question

Someone mentioned this…Ryan still has a very vocal fanbase, but I can’t recall seeing a ton of Ryan fanart, except when I was in Singapore.

IS there Ryan Choi fanart and I just am not seeing it?

I LOVED the Ryan Choi Atom series.  To me, it was a very cerebral book.  I loved the footnotes, I loved the science, I loved the mental conflict of every story.  As a writer, I feel like the stories were mental cheesecake for my brain.  I couldn’t get enough of it.

I humbly suggest that the lack of Ryan Choi fan art is because most of the enjoyment people get from Ryan was from the thinking as opposed to the visuals.  The art was beautiful in the book but what I remember are character dynamics and friendships.

  9. fyeahlilbitoeverything said: There’s not a lot of it, I don’t think. He got exposure thanks to TV but in comics I got the sense that there were a lot of old-school people who hated him.
